Glamfinder connects clients with beauty professionals. These guidelines set out what we expect from everyone so that things go well. They apply to every account, clients and pros alike. They sit alongside the Terms of Service and the Terms of Sale. If in doubt, those terms prevail.
1. Respect
- Be polite in messages as much as during the appointment.
- No insults, threats or discriminatory remarks. No exceptions.
- Keep conversations about the service. Don’t keep contacting someone who said no.
- Respect the other person’s home, workplace and privacy.
2. Punctuality and cancellations
A booking commits both sides. Show up on time. If something comes up, let the other person know as early as you can.
- Each pro sets their own cancellation terms. They are shown on the pro’s profile and repeated at booking time.
- Pros: don’t cancel at the last minute without a serious reason.
- Clients: if the appointment no longer works for you, cancel it on the platform straight away.
- Refunds follow the terms set out in the Terms of Service.
3. Hygiene and safety
- Tools are clean. Brushes and sponges are cleaned between clients.
- Products are within their expiry date and stored properly.
- The pro asks about known allergies or sensitivities. The client mentions them before the appointment.
- A service that puts someone’s health at risk doesn’t go ahead. Talk about it first.
- Every pro works within the rules of their profession.
4. Honest reviews
- Only a client who actually received a service booked on Glamfinder can leave a review.
- A review describes a real experience. It stays factual with no insults or personal attacks.
- No fake reviews and no reviews in exchange for something. No pressure to get a good rating or to have a bad one removed.
- A pro can reply to a review. The reply stays courteous.
5. Payments go through the platform
Booking and paying on Glamfinder protects both sides: the booking is recorded and the payment is handled by our provider Stripe. It is also what makes refunds possible when needed.
- Don’t offer to settle a Glamfinder booking outside the platform.
- Don’t swap contact details to get around the platform.
6. Portfolio content
- A pro only posts their own work or photos they hold the rights to.
- The person in the photo agreed to have their image published. Never show a face without that consent.
- Photos show the work as it was done. No editing that misrepresents the result.
- No shocking or sexualised content. Nothing unrelated to the business.
7. Reporting a problem
If a behaviour, a review or a photo seems to go against these guidelines, email us at contact@glamfinder.fr. Tell us which account is involved and what happened.
If someone is in immediate danger, call the emergency services first (112).
8. When the guidelines are not followed
Glamfinder may remove content or a review that goes against these guidelines. A serious or repeated breach may lead to the account being suspended, under the conditions set out in the Terms of Service.
